Technical Requirements
The storage tank is equipped with stainless steel cryogenic globe valve, combined vacuum valve (including vacuum gauge to measure the vacuum degree of the insulation layer at any time), safety valve, relief device, pressure gauge, liquid level gauge and other valve instruments.
The inner vessel is equipped with two sets of independent over-pressure relief devices to effectively ensure the safety of the tank. In addition, the safety explosion-proof devices installed on the outer vessel further ensure the safety and reliability of the entire equipment.
For the inner vessel of the storage tank, 100% Radiographic Testing (RT) is first performed on Category A and Category B welded joints. This is followed by 100% Penetrant Testing (PT) on all welded joints. After ensuring that the non-destructive testing results are qualified, a pneumatic test is conducted on the inner vessel. Finally, each weld and joint is subjected to a leak test using a helium mass spectrometer leak detector.
The finished paint film on the outer surface of the storage tank is dense, firm and reliable, and the dry film thickness of the paint is greater than 200 µm.
The tank needs to be replaced with nitrogen before leaving the factory. Fill the interior of the liquid container with 0.03~ 0.05Mpa pressure nitrogen gas for protection.
The LNG high vacuum storage tank is easy to install and have low maintenance costs. It is mainly used in city gas supply, industry combustion gas supply and gas station, etc.

Insulation
Liquefied natural gas tanks are heavily insulated with materials like perlite or polyurethane foam in order to keep the partner molecules at low temperatures. This insulation reduces heat transfer from the surroundings and prevents the evaporation of the LNG.
Materials
The inner tank is commonly made of nickel-steel alloys, which do not tend to become brittle at extremely lower temperatures. The outer tank is made of carbon steel / reinforced concrete.
Auto-Refrigeration System
The auto-refrigeration system is built in many LNG tanks and they can vent boil-off gas (gas that evaporates from the liquid) to control the temperature. This system also helps keep the pressure and temperature within acceptable range.
