Technical Requirements
- Inner container: made of austenitic stainless steel S30408, fully welded structure, is the core component of the single containment storage tank.
- The storage tank contains a pressure protection system. When the pressure in the storage tank exceeds the setting value, the vent regulating valve will be automatically opened; when the pressure continues to rise, the breathing valve exhales; if the pressure continues to rise, the bursting disc bursts to release the pressure in the tank.
- Inner and outer tank pipelines: the inlet and outlet pipelines for liquid nitrogen and low temperature gaseous nitrogen made of stainless steel (S30408). Pipes and various low temperature and normal temperature valves and instruments form a complete operation area.
Main process flow of liquid argon single containment tank
- Liquid inlet system: The liquid argon sent out from the air separation unit is sent to the storage tank through a cold insulation pipeline. Before entering the storage tank, it is divided into two paths (top and bottom inlet methods) and stored in the tank.
- Drainage system: The liquid in the storage tank is discharged through the bottom drainage port. The drainage pipeline is also equipped with an air seal structure inside the equipment and is led out from the bottom plate of the inner tank to ensure that the liquid is completely drained; For the convenience of pre cooling and starting the pump, an anti-vortex structure is installed at the discharge port to avoid pump cavitation.
- Pump reflux system: This pipeline can meet the pre cooling requirements during pump start-up and regulate the flow rate during liquid discharge.
